The Dinsmore House has the ideal location for your Charlottesville plans. Situated on The Corner; the inn is a short walk from dozens of quaint restaurants and shops. We are one block from the University of Virginia and less than a mile from Charlottesville’s historic downtown mall. Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello is five miles away and the inn is a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, numerous wineries and the Skyline Drive.
Jefferson Suite – A spacious suite with a beautiful king canopy bed and comfortable sitting room.
Dinsmore Room – Large, ornate room with hand-carved king canopy bed and original claw-foot tub in the bath.
Library Room – Americana decor with queen four poster bed and transom to welcome morning light.
Madison Room – Intricate Victorian hand-carved queen bed. Large room with original hardwood floors, decorated in colonial toile.
Sleeping Porch – Quaint country ambiance with queen brass bed and windows surrounding.
Monroe Room-Four poster queen bed, with views of Main Street and our courtyard. A true Charlottesville feel.
Virginia Room – Warm tones decorate this first floor room. King bed, private entrace and a spacious, walk in shower.
Veranda Room – Lovely first floor room with private entrance. Weather permitting, guests may choose to have breakfast on the private veranda.
