High Meadows Vineyard Inn

Sure, High Meadows is in the country…but you won’t find typical country decorations, food or entertainment at High Meadows! Just 15 miles from Monticello (the most historic house in the US) you’ll find a pleasant surprise…modern sensibilities, rustic charm, southern hospitality – all with a twist. Bright and sunny – you can’t help but smile as you reach the top of our drive, and the house appears in front of you! Whether covered in a light dusting of snow, or surrounded by our flower gardens on a clear sunny day, High Meadows isn’t your typical B&B. And with good reason…if you want to visit your grandmother’s house, go! We’re sure she will be glad to see you…but if you want to get away for a few days to relax, we suspect that cushy chairs, quiet bedrooms, great reading, walking trails and amazing food are a bit more appropriate. You won’t be disappointed!

If you need an itinerary for visiting the wineries, we have it for your. If you want to just enjoy the hammock or gazebo while listening to nature – we’ve got you covered. Dinner and some music? Great local beer and wine? Yup. Tubing, canoeing, hiking – we can point you in the right direction, all within just half mile.

Come give us a try – we aren’t your typical B&B…and we think you’ll like that!
