Miss Molly’s Inn
Miss Molly’s Inn was built in 1886 by her father Joseph Rowley ,”Clam King of the World”. Miss Molly opened the inn in 1930. Marguerite Henry stayed with Miss Molly and her uncle, Capt’ Jack whilst she wrote her most famous novel.
Today MIss Molly”s is a most popular Bed and Breakfast owned and operated by Lin and Sam Mazza.Lin and Sam have had many varied and successful years in the hospitality business here and abroad. Lin makes wonderful breakfasts and keeps a lovely “English Garden”. Sam is always ready to give you his “World Famous” map tour to acclimate you to Chincoteague and Asseteague Island’s many charms and treasures! You won’t need to pack any “beach gear” as we provide beach towels, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, skim boards, buckets and spades, and architecturally- challenging sand castles! Restaurant reservations, boat tours, kayak rentals, fishing trips or surf-casting equipment can all be arranged for you!
We have 7 air-conditioned rooms all of which have been recently refurbished. We have a comfy, private, screened-in veranda, out back, with a fridge, microwave, complimentary coffee, tea, cold drinks and goodies available 24 hours a day! We also have a spacious rear deck (hammock included) with a sweeping view of the Chincoteague Channel!
