Wyndie Crest Bed and Breakfast
Built in 1919, this B&B has been meticulously restored to its former state of grandeur with an appreciation for historical accuracy.
Reflecting pools, flagstone walkways and exotic gardens surround the home, providing a walk through nature at her very best. Nestled in southeastern Virginia’s farm country, this former estate of James L. Camp Jr., formerly of the Camp lumber tycoons of the 1800’s and one of the founding members of Union Camp/International Paper, retains its charm and beauty.
“Wyndie Crest” is central to Virginia’s historical sites of Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Richmond and Petersburg, and within an hours’ drive of the famous seashore resort of Virginia Beach. It is also just an hours’ drive south is the fishing and bathing resort area on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Your host and staff possess years of experience in the hospitality industry, which is shown in the attention to detail. Their care reflects in everything they provide, from the sumptuous bedding, gourmet breakfasts, afternoon teas, bedtime snacks, nature walks, home entertainment, and internet access, to a book for just plain lounging.
