English Muffin Bread

Ingredients

1/2oz Active Dry Yeast
3 C Bread Flour
2-1/2 C All Purpose Flour
1 Tbl Salt
1-1/2 Tbl Sugar
2-3/4 C Warm Water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.  Dough is very wet.  Once all ingredients are incorporated, place bowl in a warm, draft free spot and allow dough to rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, spray (2) 9×5 Loaf pans with cooking spray and divide dough between the two pans.  Allow the dough to rise one more hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake the bread for 45 – 50 minutes or until nicely golden.  Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove bread from pan.  Cool the loaves completely before slicing.
